CDF (Cumulative Distribution Function)


Example in the context of 3GPP

CDF may be used to compare Base Station/eNB scheduling algorithms or compare various radio deployment options or even compare various design options (say Carrier Aggregation Vs Dual Connectivity, [2] ) !

Below picture shows user throughput for two options. If we compare cumulative distribution plots, we may infer that Option 1 perform better than Option 2 as higher user throughput is experienced more number of times for Option 1 than Option 2 !.
